ACTORS EDUCATION

STUDENT MATINEES

Actors Theatre’s Student Matinee Series is a wonderful opportunity for students to experience the magic of live professional theatre and make great classroom connections. Last year, over 15,000 area students attended matinee performances, which are aligned with Kentucky/Indiana drama content and reinforce other school curriculum.

In addition to the performance, teachers receive a study guide with supplementary material and background information, discussion questions and activities to use in the classroom. Also included in the price of the matinee is a Pre-show and Post-show Workshop.

Please note age appropriateness when booking as Student Matinee productions are presented entirely without language or content editing. Show times typically run two hours. Teachers may preview the performance in the first two weeks of the run by contacting Actors Education, Jacob Stoebel at 502-584-1265 x 3065 or Education@ActorsTheatre.org.
